Since Haylo had to go to work instead of the Bahamas, she decided to bring the Bahamas to work. Who could refuse a week's holiday in an office cubicle upon a hammock?
By 's request, I produced a pin-up based on her character M.Haylo. The colours are a bit garish for a 40's-classic pin-up, but that was the main inspiration behind this piece- hence the stockings and lingerie. Think it also fills my seasonal pic quota too via the pumpkin calendar (and perhaps Black History Month too, though I think I'll produce something a bit more dignified on that front).
Materials Used: 5H-HB pencils, fineliner pen, markers, reference from
Time Taken: 2 hours approx.
That's really great work, I like the pose and her outfit. I really like your coloring style, have you ever tried working in a program like Painter? I think you'd have a blast with some of the marker style brushes in that..

Thanks Thought the pose would throw me off, but it came out alright. Was just figuring out how to colour it in that was the problem

Thanks glad you like it (and glad you d it ), particularly on the colours
Hmm, fiddled about with Paint Shop Pro 7 and 10 (X) (seems to be the Uni's only or main image editing program), and some Photoshop back in 6th Form, but haven't come across Painter. Will have to look out for it.
