May be a little late with this request, as methinks

has received an illustrated portrait already, but nevertheless, I finally managed to finish the request. I just let my artistic faculties (or lack thereof) go with the flow in the colour and shading scheme here. The colours are all primary or secondary (or technically not colours in the case of black and white), hence the title. Looking back, maybe I should've made this a pencil shaded sketch, but I felt like injecting a bit of colour and style into the image. Let me know what you think!

Materials Used: HB pencil, fineliner pen, photo reference, marker pens.
Time Taken: Hmm, prolly about an hour and 15 mins altogether.

Hahaha I like it he looks so dramatic and noir like pretty big contrast from what I've see from him he seems so bubbly and upbeat. Still, I bet he wouldnt mind this change though. Pretty awesome how you colored the shirt. The bottom of the lip bothers me a little for some reason but I'm pretty sure you were just using proper shading methods. Why aren't you online grettal hyman? Zsa Zsa Van Christ is waiting for you...

Raaaah this is rather awesome. I'm lovin' the hair. and the fact I look older, and somewhat...evil, in a way. (guess that says a lot about the original picture). And no you ain't too late lol. Best friend Katie decided to randomly do me in a lineart portrait in photoshop. Was a random thing she decided to do.

He is rather upbeat now and then (he has his down points, but he isn't exactly surly and pessimistic), but he looked fairly moody in the reference pic

Could tweak the bottom lip a bit more later (one of the things about drawing is that you also got to know what not to draw as well as what to draw for the best effect). Sorry for not being online lately though

had Leanne round the Friday night and she slept over, so I wasn't able to make the morning time. Hope you're doing better now though
