This is my Sandstorm character (see my 'James "Adikkt" Oakley' picture for Sandstorm information), Damon Heat. Originally called 'Dave', but that was a bit too close to his Mary-Sue-ish origins so he got a name change to Damon, and is generally different in attitude, background and all that to me or anyone else (All likenesses, living or dead, to the character is purely coincidental...y'know, in case Heat is a proper surname).

Speaking of Mary-Sue, this was originally going to be a self-portrait illustration with a completely different facial expression and pose, but it was never finished. Attempts to build Damon up from scratch in a portrait just bumped me into an artist's block, so I decided to take what framework I had from the self-portrait attempt, changed some features (mainly the nose) and moulded it into Damon. I'm pleased with it, but there are bits of the image I feel are fairly off, but I can twist that as an attempt to make it look more 'stylish' perhaps?
